G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296 comic book. G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296 starts a new multipart story - All In! The previous story continues so it feels weird to see that it starts over in a new subset. Please be aware that there will be spoilers within this review. Like other issues of G.I. Joe A Real American Hero this issue starts out with a Sitrep. We also can see the alternate front covers. Then we get into twenty pages of content, and then advertisements.

The issues families will have with G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296 are blood, violence, lack of attire, and more. We also see one of the front covers to the next issue. I think it would be cool if all of them are shown. There is a flashback to Genghis Khan and when he died. We even see his spirit leave his body and walk through a door and into a bright light. From there we get into the firefight between G.I. Joe and Cobra in the lab. There are more Joes on the way to catch the Cobra troops in an enfilade.

The Joes have even more reinforcements on the way in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296. It will take them three hours to get to the Cobra Casino from Utah. I am not clear on whether or not this is a new Pitt. There are plenty of new Vipers shown in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296. I loved seeing the Night Creepers and Alley Vipers in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296. Dr Minderbender freaks out quite a bit in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296. He is very happy that Genghis Khan stands after the tube is broken. Quite a way to end G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296 too.

I have so many questions after reading G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296. Is this Genghis Khan supposed to be a new Serpentor? He does not feel like a Serpentor to me. I am hoping future issues of this comic book explain where this character is going. Can he speak English? How did he learn it? G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296 taught me a very important lesson. That lesson is never send flamethrower troops against ninjas. The ninjas are very over powered in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296.

The chess game of strategy within G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296 is brilliant. The Cobra troops are told to not shoot the DNA Tubes or the Brainwave Scanners. G.I. Joe then decides to go and hide behind the DNA Tubes and Brainwave Scanners. They make great cover. The idea of using the battle ground to your favor is exactly the things I learned about while I was in the military. There is plenty of action within G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #296. There is very little story progress though. We finally get Genghis Khan out of that DNA Tube.
