Match Three Pirates II
SCORE: 70
I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming
was given a digital download code for Match Three Pirates II on the
Nintendo Switch. My initial reaction to Match Three Pirates II is I
thought it was an app port from Android and/or iOS. I did find
information about the first title in this franchise being on the Android
and iOS platform. From what I can tell Match Three Pirates II is only on
the PC and Nintendo Switch. Which is good news for the Nintendo Switch.
We do two major things within Match Three Pirates II. The first is play
match three levels. The second thing we do in Match Three Pirates II is
to build an amusement park. The amusement park has a pirate theme to it.
Match Three Pirates II grants the player only so many moves and certain
objectives. We may get thirty-five moves and we must unlock two treasure
chests for example. These change with the levels.
The ESRB was not capable of finding any words for descriptors for
families. Another line item for extremely long list of miscues from the
ESRB. Match Three Pirates II has lack of attire, enticement to lust,
spirits, ghosts, and pirates within it. There are also some references
to comic mischief and cartoon violence. Match Three Pirates II makes
attempts at humor. You can decide if you find it funny or not.
Match Three Pirates II can be played two ways. We can move the cursor to
a tile and select it, then we move the cursor to a second tile to swap
them. If the Nintendo Switch is not docked then a simple swipe will swap
two tiles. For the move to work one of the swapping tiles must match
three or more. Match Three Pirates II will highlight possible tiles to
be matched if you let it sit there for a few seconds.
One of the coolest things about Match Three Pirates II is the levels
start the same. Lets say I messed up and ran out of moves before
completing all of my objectives. I could restart the level and work on
different matches for a different result. I had fun playing Match Three
Pirates II. I am normally not into match three games. They are usually
what Yolanda is into. I loved building the theme park in Match Three
Pirates II.
