Midnight Suns #1

I knew there was a Midnight Suns video game coming out. In fact I am writing the Midnight Suns #1 comic book review one month before the video game comes out. I knew this dealt with the Marvel magic users more than anything else. Sort of like Justice League Dark in DC Comics. I am not really sure why Wolverine is in Midnight Suns #1 though. There are a lot of aspects of Midnight Suns #1 that make little to no sense to me. More on that in just a little bit. There will be some spoilers within Midnight Suns #1.

There is this zombie Zoe who goes to the Strange Academy in Midnight Suns #1. There is a vision that all these different magic users see. It is in essence the end of the world in four days. These evil vapors are after Zoe. Somehow she is the key to the destruction of the world. Wolverine is the one character that did not get to see the vision of the apocalypse. Which is a bit weird to say considering that is also the name of a X-Men villain. I was almost tempted to find a different word to describe it.

The issues families will have is violence, blood, magic, lack of attire, enticement to lust, occult, demons, blood, sexual deviancy and more. The bad language is shown with odd symbols. Ghost Rider is now a Native American young lady in Midnight Suns #1. I had no idea Marvel changed Ghost Rider in such a strange fashion. She does call herself Spirit Rider at one point instead of Ghost Rider. Not a lot of difference in the concepts there though. Wolverine is not very helpful in Midnight Suns #1 against the vapor attackers.

I had bought a few more comics in this series. I am honestly not sure how many more I want to read. I did some research and see that Midnight Suns is going to be a five issue mini series. I may try and get through the five issues. Ultimately Midnight Suns #1 did not impress me. Not one bit. There is so much bad content within Midnight Suns #1 that was not needed. Why include so much controversial and divisive content? It honestly makes little to no sense to me. Why change the gender and race of certain characters?

Blade is one of the few stand out characters within Midnight Suns #1. Whereas Wolverine does not really fit in Midnight Suns #1, Blade fits perfectly. Blade does not know all of the right terms for some of the things they face within Midnight Suns #1. To me Blade's descriptions were pretty accurate. He has to be corrected by others who are show off and know-it-all characters. Midnight Suns #1 has evil looking characters on the side of good. There is a demon and a zombie that are in the school together learning.
