Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms
SCORE: 34
I am very thankful I had the money to
purchase Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms on Blu-ray. I cannot
help but compare Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms to the
recent live action Mortal Kombat movie. Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of
the Realms has a better story and is way more in line with the Mortal
Kombat video game franchise than the live action movie was. Mortal
Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms has much more blood and gore in it.
The issues families will have with Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the
Realms are blood, gore, violence, bad language, lack of attire,
enticement to lust, false gods and more. There is some One Being that
was in this fantasy universe before the elder gods. The elder gods over
threw the One Being according to Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the
Realms.
Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms even contains romance for
Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade. Speaking of romance Mortal Kombat Legends
Battle of the Realms shows Liu Kang and Kitana together. I did some
research and found both of those romances have been in Mortal Kombat
video games. I have not played any Mortal Kombat video games since the
third one so I was not versed on the lore anymore.
The animation in Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms is
fantastic. Certain bone crushing moves go into X-ray mode showing the
bones breaking. Certain characters have powers in Mortal Kombat Legends
Battle of the Realms. The moves from the video game are also present and
accounted for in Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms. One of the
oddities to me in Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms is when
Raiden gives up his powers to fight in the tournament.
I was also surprised to see Sub Zero and Scorpion work together in
Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms. They had a common enemy that
was going to destroy all of the realms. I found their back story very
interesting in Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms. The story
telling in that section was fantastic. I was a bit surprised how many
characters died in Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms.
