Mulan

I almost did not buy the live action version of Mulan because of all of the controversy surrounding this movie. From the attacks on men to the concentration camps there is plenty about Mulan that has multiple groups boycotting it and Disney. Ultimately it came down to one very important question God has given me. Why do I buy, and use these product? I do all of that to write the reviews. I do all of that to do the videos.

There are all kinds of people who read our reviews and pass on products because of the controversies. Disney might make a whole lot more sales if we did not watch and review their movies. We stay Loyal, Brave and True to God and His Holy Family. It is obvious to me that Mulan is a movie trying to reach the Communist Party in China. So obviously Disney does not care about human rights with all of the violations made by the Communist Party in China.

Mulan is pretty straight forward. This injured older man has two daughters. One is a bit of a tomboy and their system is women bring honor to the family by being matched and married. When war comes and each family must send a male member of the family to fight the father takes up the mantle. He can barely walk after being a war hero in the last war. Mulan decides she will steal his sword, and armor. She leaves in the dead of night to take his place. That means Mulan must pretend to be a man.

Mulan teaches that women are kept down and are not allowed to do what they really want to do. Mulan shows men as bad and women as the saviors of our world. We learn about Eastern religious beliefs in Mulan as well in a sort of indoctrination kind of a way. There is plenty of violence in Mulan. We also run across lack of attire, and magic within Mulan.

Mulan teaches all about Chi and Mulan has an abundance. She is able to do amazing moves because of it. She eventually reveals who she is and earns exile. She comes back to save the emperor and immediately the males change their position and she is now revered. That part did not make much sense to me. Mulan is immediately forgiven for all of her transgressions and honored because she alone saved the life of the emperor.

I found little to relate to and with in Mulan. This is not a movie I plan on watching again. It was ordinary, woke supremacist, political correct, and dull. How did the invading army run up walls like that? How did no one notice Mulan was a girl? There is too much in Mulan that made no sense. The Phoenix was cool looking. I spent two hours with Mulan so you do not have to.
