My Fantastic Ranch
SCORE: 85
I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code to My Fantastic Ranch on the Xbox Series X. Families can
also find My Fantastic Ranch on the Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), PS4,
and Xbox One. My Fantastic Ranch is a management video game that is
geared toward the younger members of the family. In fact when families
start to play My Fantastic Ranch they can choose normal or dreamer mode.
Dreamer mode is where no gems are needed making it an easier experience.
There are physical copies of this game available for sale.
My Fantastic Ranch has the blocky look and feel to it that is a little
better looking that Minecraft. Kids come into My Fantastic Ranch and can
learn lessons like riding on a unicorn or flying on a dragon. There is a
definite fantasy feel to My Fantastic Ranch. Younger players must build
a stable, and then adopt a fantasy creature. Then they need to hire
staff and make an area for the training. Everything in My Fantastic
Ranch is very logical and thought out. There are also goals on the
screen so a reading ability is needed to play My Fantastic Ranch.
If you happen to be impatient waiting for something to finish you can
just fast forward the time in My Fantastic Ranch. I used this when
lessons were going on and I needed them to be complete to achieve the
goal that was on the screen. As players progress through My Fantastic
Ranch they earn different resources like gems. Those resources are also
used in purchasing and upgrading aspects of the ranch.
Players will level up as they complete tasks and goals within My
Fantastic Ranch. The assistant to the player in My Fantastic Ranch is a
fairy. There are plenty of bright colors used in My Fantastic Ranch. The
music is fun and fantastic to listen to. There is also some voice acting
within My Fantastic Ranch. Kids can also learn how to take care of their
fantasy animals in My Fantastic Ranch. Remember they need to rest
sometimes so do not over work them.
My Fantastic Ranch is a cute little management video game that the
younger members of the family can enjoy. If your child is not reading
yet then an older member of the family will need to assist them. I did
notice there were visual cues in the tutorial section of My Fantastic
Ranch. It would point me to the menu and then which building that needed
to be built. I can see families enjoying My Fantastic Ranch as long as
the magical aspect does not bother them.
