My Little Pony #5

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of My Little Pony #5. This comic book series has been very interesting and the mystery continues to deepen. We are given some backstory within My Little Pony #5. Before I go any further all ya'll should know that there will be spoilers within My Little Pony #5. The ponies follow a lead to someone who knows about Discord. Things get creepy strange within My Little Pony #5. In a lot of ways My Little Pony #5 feels like one of those scary stories told around the campfire.

My Little Pony #5 introduces us to Lightning Rod. He takes care of a lighthouse in My Little Pony #5. He tells the ponies a couple of scary stories. The stories revolve around the Mirror of Mayhem and how it connects to the Lord of Chaos. My Little Pony #5 ends with a freaky scene where the lighthouse is gone after the ponies leave it. Half of the mirror is there. The other half is referenced as being under all of the rubble. The ponies had left to go find it. It dawns on one of them that they should have taken the half Lightning Rod had.

The different ponies within My Little Pony #5 have different personalities. This shows really well in their reactions to the ghost stories they are told. They also enjoy some nice snacks and drinks. One of the lessons within My Little Pony #5 is to not hold onto the past. Lightning Rod held onto the past and his entire town was destroyed. He learned from that mistake. He even used electronic devices. Wikiponia is referenced as a site that has accurate information in My Little Pony #5. It must be better than our Wikipedia.

The issues families can have with My Little Pony #5 are magic, scares, frights, and a story that could cause some nightmares. Discord was trapped in the Mirror of Mayhem at one time. It caused bad luck to everyone but Fet Lockland. In fact Fet Lockland got very wealthy thanks to the mirror. Lockland let ponies look at the mirror to see their futures. The futures were not always as bright as they hoped though. In fact it usually made the ponies very miserable. Like the pony that got married.

We learn a lot more about Discord with My Little Pony #5. What we do not learn is where Discord is. I am hoping Discord is found pretty soon. The ponies within My Little Pony #5 have hope they will find Discord thanks to the information they found in My Little Pony #5. The idea is to use the mirror to location Discord. There is a connection between the two. Time will tell if it all works out in future issues of this comic book. I figure it probably will. There are twenty-two pages, alternate covers and then advertisements inside My Little Pony #5.
