Pyramids of Ra

I am very thankful I had enough money to purchase the Piko Interactive Collection 1, and the Piko Interactive Collection 2. The reason is if you put both of those cartridges into the Evercade VS system then you get Pyramids of Ra as a free additional video game. Peter and I live streamed Pyramids of Ra during the session we did on Evercade secret video games on the Evercade VS system. In essence we got Pyramids of Ra for free since we already owned all of the other required items. I love how Blaze Entertainment is giving out free games to their audience.

Pyramids of Ra was originally on the Gameboy back in 1993. The graphics do look a bit dated on most of the screens, especially the one that shows the password for that level. The animation is nice on the game play screen of Pyramids of Ra. I should also let Family Friendly Gaming Universe know that Pyramids of Ra is a puzzle video game. You might have played gamers similar to Pyramids of Ra in the past. Or maybe a mini game within some other game had the same game play mechanics and style.

We must take our little light and move it around the screen in Pyramids of Ra. The goal is to cross each of the tiles and then make it to the S tile. We must go across each of the tiles within Pyramids of Ra. As players progress through the game Pyramids of Ra gets more complex and players will need to go across the same tile multiple times. The way you can tell is the color of the tile. A red tile for example can only be gone over once before it vanishes. Players cannot go back over that space again either.

If the concept is still confusing then please go to the videos section of Family Friendly Gaming, go to the Evercade page and bring up the page for Pyramids of Ra. You can watch the video so see what I am talking about. Pyramids of Ra is a blast and there are plenty of levels to go through. Families will get their moneys worth out of Pyramids of Ra. Did I mention we paid no additional money to play Pyramids of Ra on the Evercade VS system? I think I might have mentioned it before in this review.

The music within Pyramids of Ra is jamming. The hardest part about Pyramids of Ra is figuring out how to solve some of these puzzles. Peter ran into some issues during the live stream. I have played Pyramids of Ra since then and can tell you that the screens are definitely solvable. The cool thing is there is more than one way to solve the screens in Pyramids of Ra. Peter would do it one way and I thought of another way it could be done. We found no offensive content while playing Pyramids of Ra.
