Sonic The Hedgehog #52

Sonic The Hedgehog #52 starts with the heroes in dire straits. Sonic The Hedgehog #52 ends with an interesting fight coming up next. There will be spoilers in this review of Sonic The Hedgehog #52. Sonic, Belle, Tails, and Kit are trying to get away from Metal Sonic. They are also trying to get out of Eggman's City. They do eventually make it outside only to have Metal Sonic follow them. Then there is an explosion and Metal Sonic goes back to see if Dr Eggman is alright. Surge found the Dynamo Cage and is about to attack Dr Eggman. What will happen in the next issue?

The issues family can have with Sonic The Hedgehog #52 are violence, peril, and more. Kit has turned into a good guy helping out Sonic and his pals against Metal Sonic. Kit recharges with water thanks to Belle and is able to fight again. The rest of the team is in no shape or condition to take on Metal Sonic. Remember how Belle repaired Metal Sonic? She stands in his way to stop him from attacking Sonic the Hedgehog. She thinks he will stop for just a second. Metal Sonic then slaps Belle out of the way.

Sonic The Hedgehog #52 starts with two pages of the Story So Far, then twenty pages of content, next month's cover, letter squad, alternate covers/artwork, and then some advertisements. The art style and colors continue to be fantastic. I really got into some of the artistic content within Sonic The Hedgehog #52. The story is taking interesting twists and turns I was not expecting. For example Surge takes a robot hostage and threatens to dismantle him. She is too impatient and refuses to hear about the kinks still within the Dynamo Cage.

Sonic points out the city is going to continue to be a problem for them going forward. It will need to be dealt with at some point in the near future. Hopefully that will happen once they are well rested. How much rest does Sonic the Hedgehog need? I wonder if this comic book series will explain that. If it happened before I started reading this series then I am not aware of it. If you are go ahead and let me know which issue covers that topic. I may try to purchase some back issues if they are not too expensive.

Sonic The Hedgehog #52 does an amazing job continuing this story line. I am happy the heroes got some progress and are out of the city. Hopefully they can make it to safety while Dr Eggman fights off Surge. Metal Sonic should also get there to help Dr Eggman very soon. Kit and Surge have gone opposite paths. It will be interesting to see what happens when the two of them reunite at some point in the future. Sonic The Hedgehog #52 is another solid Sonic comic book in my personal and professional opinion.
