The storyline continues to develop and grow within Sonic The Hedgehog #53. We are started out with the Story So Far, then a character page, twenty pages of content, next months cover, Sonic Letter Squad, alternate covers, and then some advertisements. There will be spoilers in this review. I am very thankful I had the money to purchase the Sonic The Hedgehog #53 comic book. I am enjoying the storylines within Sonic The Hedgehog #53. It feels like we get progress every issue and then have something to look forward to in the next issue. I am enjoying this comic book series.

Sonic is patched up with some bandages within Sonic The Hedgehog #53. Kit is a big help and very subservient to Sonic, Tails, and Belle in Sonic The Hedgehog #53. At least until he decides to leave and go help Sonic and Tails. Little does he know that Surge is still alive. Sonic tells Kit what happened to Dr Starline and Surge in previous issues. As far as Sonic knows Surge and the doctor are dead. As we know Surge has resurfaced and stolen one of Dr Eggman's weapons to get stronger and take out Sonic.

Surge gets powered up thanks to the robots attacking her in Sonic The Hedgehog #53. She leave Eggman alive because she wants to take out Sonic first. After that she plans to come back to take out Eggman. Eggman underestimates Surge in Sonic The Hedgehog #53. I hope he learns from that mistake going forward. She could have easily killed him if she wanted to. Surge then goes on a rampage and picks a fight with Whisper. Surge steals the wisps as Whisper attacks with them. There is some violent content within Sonic The Hedgehog #53.

Sonic and Tails arrive on the scene near the end of Sonic The Hedgehog #53. Kit does not want to lose anyone else so he disregards Belle's advice and decides to go help Sonic and Tails. He even hurts Belle in the process. What will happen when Kit and Surge reunite? Where will Kit's allegiances go in future issues? Sonic The Hedgehog #53 poses some interesting questions on which direction a character will take. Kit will obviously be shocked to see Surge alive. Sonic was surprised to see she is still alive.

Surge reminds me of that old adage: "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Surge is becoming more and more wicked within Sonic The Hedgehog #53. All because she was tortured by Dr Starline. She is taking her anger out on everyone around her. There are plenty of people in our world that do the same thing. It is honestly really sad to see. I hope someone can reach Surge in the future. Maybe Kit will be able to talk her off the ledge in future issues. I am very excited for the next issue of this comic book.
