Sonic the Hedgehog 2

A lot of sequels wind up worse than the original movies. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 breaks that expectation entirely. I liked Sonic the Hedgehog 2 way more than the first movie. We get Knuckles and Tails in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. There is another secret character in the credits that will be coming in the next movie. Sonic tries to be a hero early on in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. That does not go very well for him or others in that city. Sonic learns to be patient and wait until his moment comes.

We were laughing and laughing as we watched Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Jim Carrey does a fantastic job in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Knuckles has quite the development arc within Sonic the Hedgehog 2. He starts hating Sonic to working together with him. Tails is a great addition in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. He learns to be brave in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Then there is Sonic who has all kinds of growth himself. He may not like water but he does a good job in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 with it. Nods are given to the games in multiple places and multiple areas of Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

The storyline in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 revolves around Knuckles trying to get to the master emerald. Dr Robotnik teams up with Knuckles to get the master emerald. Sonic and Tails work hard to stop the duo. If you know the characters then you can expect what happens when they reach the master emerald. SPOILER ALERT! Dr Robotnik betrays Knuckles and takes the power for himself. Dr Robotnik builds a giant Eggman robot to destroy his enemies.

The issues families can have with Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are violence, bad language, and more. Dr Robotnik's henchman is one strange fellow. It seems he admires Dr Robotnik a bit too much in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. SPOILER ALERT! Super Sonic and Shadow make appearances within Sonic the Hedgehog 2. There are plenty of epic moments within Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The snow avalanche in Hawaii during the wedding is a great example.

Since we have a free month of Paramount+ we watched Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in the venue. All of us here at Family Friendly Gaming really enjoyed Sonic the Hedgehog 2 from start to finish. A physical copy release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be coming very soon. We can update the review if and when we receive a reviewable copy on Blu-ray and/or DVD. I am very eager to see what happens in the third movie.
