Star Trek Discovery Season Three
SCORE: 53
I am very thankful that I received Star
Trek Discovery Season Three on DVD for Christmas. This show seems to
finally hit a good stride in its third season. Captain Saru is a
fantastic character in Star Trek Discovery Season Three. He does an
amazing job as captain. He follows the ideals of Starfleet and even
punishes crew for their insubordination. Too bad his punishment is not
very good and does not last very long. Which is a real shame in my
opinion.
The issues families can have with Star Trek Discovery Season Three are
violence, sexual deviancy, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to
lust, sex outside of marriage, disobedience, vomit, attacking authority
figures, attacks on gender, and more. We even have some weird magic in
Star Trek Discovery Season Three. This one character Book can talk to
different animals. This skill is used early and late in this season.
Star Trek Discovery Season Three starts in the year of our Lord 3188.
That is when Michael Burnham shows up. The crew of the Discovery show up
a year later. The burn has almost destroyed Starfleet as all ships using
dilithium at the time exploded. The official cause of the burn is not
even known. SPOILER ALERT! We do learn that a spoiled child is the cause
of the burn late in Star Trek Discovery Season Three.
Discovery is on their path to find Starfleet and restore the galaxy.
They must be careful with what they find because they are technically
criminals for time traveling. The spore drive is something of real value
in this future. Georgiou has some issues in Star Trek Discovery Season
Three. SPOILER ALERT! We say goodbye to her since people from the mirror
universe cannot time travel and survive.
Star Trek Discovery Season Three contains plenty of action and
adventure. The crew is constantly in danger in one way or another. There
are criminals running most of the universe in Star Trek Discovery Season
Three now. The crew of the Discovery must navigate this new future. The
captain decision made at the end of Star Trek Discovery Season Three is
really lame. I cannot get behind that decision or the logic behind it.
