Swoon! Earth Escape

I am very thankful that Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Swoon! Earth Escape. We were also provided payment to review Swoon! Earth Escape on Steam. This PC (Personal Computer) video game is a 2D side scrolling action adventure. These aliens crash on Earth and must find the parts to their ship to leave. Each level within Swoon! Earth Escape contains three mechanical parts that will repair your ship.

The music and graphics within Swoon! Earth Escape are nice. I enjoyed listening to the music while traversing these levels. There are bosses within Swoon! Earth Escape as well. Aspects of Swoon! Earth Escape remind me of Pandemonium! on the Playstation. Swoon! Earth Escape is done in the retro style. There are also aspects of this 2D side scroller that make me think of 2.5D. There are objects in Swoon! Earth Escape that will go from the foreground to the background. Swinging spikes are a great example.

A controller is required to play Swoon! Earth Escape. I have also been told that Swoon! Earth Escape will be coming to the consoles in the future as well. I chose to use an Xbox Series X controller to play Swoon! Earth Escape. I was able to quickly find the flow within Swoon! Earth Escape. There is a certain cadence to going through levels within Swoon! Earth Escape. I also learned to watch for spikes, and other objects that would take my character out.

In each level we can only take one hit. We have multiple hearts but those are for continues. This makes Swoon! Earth Escape a very challenging game with plenty of advanced parkour. An example would be to jump from one platform to another while the enemy that jumps up and down is up in the air. I would then have to quickly jump to the next platform before that enemy came back down and squished me. It all came down to finding the right timing to initiate the jumps.

If you like challenging 2.5D side scrolling adventure video games then you will most likely enjoy Swoon! Earth Escape. Players can save their alien friends, get new suits with new powers, work with your mechanic to fix the ship and more. Gems, candies, mechanical parts, and hearts are the main collectible items within Swoon! Earth Escape. I wish the continues were a little closer together within Swoon! Earth Escape.

I had some fun playing Swoon! Earth Escape. There are certainly challenging parts within this downloadable video game. I learned it pays to take it slow and see what happens in front of me. Maybe spears are being launched from the background, or maybe a giant flying dinosaur is coming toward the screen. There are enemies that we can stand on for example in Swoon! Earth Escape. There are five biomes and thirty levels within Swoon! Earth Escape.
