The Adventures of Rad Gravity
SCORE: 74
The purchase of the Interplay Collection 2 is the gift that keeps on
giving. The Adventures of Rad Gravity is another game that is on that
compilation cartridge. The Adventures of Rad Gravity is one of the
strangest 8-bit video games I have played in my lifetime. We have this
odd looking character with a head that is almost as big as the rest of
his body. We are in a 2D side scrolling adventure with lots of jump on
things that look like background objects.
There is action adventure violence in The Adventures of Rad Gravity. We
must work our way through the levels and destroy all of the enemies that
come out way. I found crouching and attacking is one of the best ways in
The Adventures of Rad Gravity to avoid getting hit and make it through
the levels. At times I was not sure where to go next in The Adventures
of Rad Gravity.
Graphically The Adventures of Rad Gravity definitely looks like a NES
8-bit video game. The audio is fun to listen to in The Adventures of Rad
Gravity as well. There is some strategy in boss fights in The Adventures
of Rad Gravity. We might need to use the enemies own missiles to destroy
their ship for example. Or maybe draw a boss close to a volcano shooting
our hot rocks. It is neat to see some thought was put into how players
progress in The Adventures of Rad Gravity.
I will warn you that The Adventures of Rad Gravity is on the challenging
side. Many of the retro video games like The Adventures of Rad Gravity
were more challenging than a lot of the current casual video games. I
had to work hard to avoid all of these cheap hits within The Adventures
of Rad Gravity. I had to memorize when and where the enemies were flying
at me while playing The Adventures of Rad Gravity.
If you are a video game historian or a nostalgia gamer then The
Adventures of Rad Gravity might be for you. There are plenty of
interesting ideas that were applied back in the 8-bit era within The
Adventures of Rad Gravity. I love all of the layers of things we can
jump on. I showed off some of that when I live streamed The Adventures
of Rad Gravity. The video can be found on our website in the videos
section.
