The Lost Temple

Thanks to a free month of Paramount+ we were able to watch The Lost Temple. I am so thankful we had this free month so we could watch this movie. We are also watching some television shows on Paramount+. Which means expect more reviews from content on that platform very soon. We let these platforms compile content and then when we have a free month we redeem and blitz through their content. Know what comes after that? We cancel the service.

The Lost Temple is all about a widowed romance novelist who does not like her life. She is going out on a book tour with her publicist, social media manager, and the model that poses for the front covers of her books. The fans are more interested in the model ripping off his shirt for them than anything else. Sandra Bullock plays the reclusive Loretta Sage. Channing Tatum plays the model Alan. Brad Pitt plays Jack Trainer the ex-military man who helps with the rescue of Loretta Sage.

The main villain Abigail Fairfax is played by Daniel Radcliffe. He kidnaps Loretta to assist him in finding the tomb of an ancient king who is supposed to have a crown of amazing jewels. There is plenty of humor in this romantic comedy. Alan is hilarious in a great many areas of The Lost Temple. Since I had heard The Lost Temple had flopped I did not have very high expectations of it.

The issues families will have with The Lost Temple are violence, blood, bad language, nudity, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There is certain sexual comments in The Lost Temple as well. Alan gets leeches on him and Loretta must inspect his body to get all of the leeches off of him. Loretta also gets interested in translating the text and finding the tomb while fleeing from the bad guys.

I enjoyed The Lost Temple much more than I thought I would. This is one less movie I need to worry about on Black Friday now. Watching The Lost Temple as a streaming movie does make it feel a whole lot more disposable. The Lost Temple is very predictable until we get to the credits and there is a little cut scene that was a bit shocking. I will not spoil that for you though.
