The Man in The High Castle Season Two
SCORE: 53
Things really start to pick up in The Man
in The High Castle Season Two. Joe meets his father, and
Obergruppenführer John Smith unearths a major plot in the Third Reich.
Juliana meets The Man in The High Castle. That makes her very valuable
to both the Nazis and the Japanese. She applies for assylum with the
Nazis because the Resistance is trying to kill her. There is plenty of
action and intrigue in The Man in The High Castle Season Two.
The issues families will have with The Man in The High Castle Season Two
are violence, blood, bad language, enticement to lust, lack of attire,
nudity, drug use, attacks on God, attacks on people of faith, sex
outside of marriage and more. The young people Berlin scene is sort of
similar to the "free love" movement in America in the 1960s. I question
if such a thing would actually happen in that situation based on the
brainwashing from the Nazi party.
SPOILER ALERT! Adolph Hitler dies in The Man in The High Castle Season
Two. His immediate successor has a logical plan to conquer Japan and
then have humanity work as one toward common goals. The whole Tower of
Babel kind of thing. We see all of the films from The Man in The High
Castle. We see a lot of great ideas and splendor coming from the Nazis.
I do question the lack of technological progress in this universe. The
Germans made all kinds of advancements in World War II. Why would they
stop after winning the war?
There is a scary flashback in The Man in The High Castle Season Two
where we see Washington DC hit with an atomic bomb. Both the Japanese
and the Germans want to have one final war where one side wins and takes
the planet. Traveling to our world is also shown in The Man in The High
Castle Season Two. The Trade Minister even gets one of his wishes
fulfilled thanks to that traveling.
The Resistance still looks bad in The Man in The High Castle Season Two.
In fact in some ways they look worse with the bombing at the central
high command building is a great example. The Japanese and Nazis are
made to look generally reasonable in The Man in The High Castle Season
Two. The idealogy of killing people with "defects" is one of the most
disturbing threads in The Man in The High Castle Season Two.
