Alf Season Three
SCORE: 73
I am very thankful we had the money to purchase Alf Season Three on
DVD. Technically we have the entire series and are reviewing the seasons
one at a time. The characters have settled in pretty good in Alf Season
Three. There are a few different issues this television season
addressed. The last example is about Jake’s mom being a Kleptomaniac.
Alf Season Three is very strong on defending her and it is not her fault
she keeps stealing. I always ask certain questions. How do the victims
feel? That was not really addressed in Alf Season Three.
There is less of trying to keep Alf safe in Alf Season Three. We do have
an episode or two where he could get caught and captured by the
government. Although the government workers are made to look like
buffoons. A homeless man is quite the hero in a couple of those
episodes. There are instances of cartoon like violence in Alf Season
Three. Superstitions are encouraged and taught to be real in Alf Season
Three. Topics like racism and women working are also addressed in Alf
Season Three. There are references to false gods in Alf Season Three.
The family does lie a lot to protect Alf. Another lesson from Alf Season
Three is that we are all the same under the skin. College degrees are
encouraged and discussed in Alf Season Three. The value of different
degrees is joked about in this season. Lynn is trying to find her major
and explores different ones in Alf Season Three. The baby is born in Alf
Season Three. The final episode is out of order since the baby has
already been born and in the last episode Kate is still pregnant. The
Tanner family tries to make Alf feel appreciated when he is bored in one
episode.
There are numerous laughs within Alf Season Three. There is also plenty
of sarcasm in Alf Season Three. Alf hosting The Tonight Show for Johnny
Carson was interesting. Alf was pretty rude to the Pope though. There
are twenty-seven episodes less than thirty minutes in Alf Season Three.
I wish Alf would finally grow up a bit. Costing the family so much money
and breaking so many things is getting old. I like how he is now up in
the attic. Even had ants for pets for a short time.
