Astonishing Iceman #1
SCORE: 50
There have been plenty of shocks to me since returning to the comic
book industry. When I read X-Men comics from the 80s and 90s Iceman was
a cool character with some interesting powers. Iceman was even on a
Spiderman animated show at one point. Radicals in the extreme far left
have taken over and really messed up this character. There will be
spoilers in this review.
In 2015 Marvel decided to redefine Iceman as a sexual deviant. They made
Iceman homosexual. I had no idea and discovered it after reading
Astonishing Iceman #1. I have purchased the next issue and will read and
review it. After that I will not be spending any more money on this
Astonishing Iceman comic book series. The shocking moments in
Astonishing Iceman #1 were extremely disturbing.
The issues families will have with Astonishing Iceman #1 are violence,
lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, sexual deviancy, false
gods, and more. Iceman is very arrogant in Astonishing Iceman #1. There
are twenty pages of comic book content within Astonishing Iceman #1.
Advertisements can be found all throughout Astonishing Iceman #1. This
comic book is part of the Fall of X.
Astonishing Iceman #1 explains how Iceman died in the near past, and was
brought back. He can survive for a little while outside of his ice
castle in the Arctic. He goes out there to attack Orchis. Astonishing
Iceman #1 also told me that Iceman is now an Omega level mutant. I never
saw him as that powerful personally. I guess that is more of the
redefining of a character.
Orchis is the horrible bad humans in Astonishing Iceman #1. They send
out robots to kill mutants. This storyline is so over done that it is
totally boring now. X-Men comics continue to disappoint me. I am getting
close to the point of not giving them anymore chances. Astonishing
Iceman #1 cost $3.99 when I wasted the money on it. I cannot wait to get
done with what I have of this series and never think about it again.
