Batman Fortress #4

I just finished reading the Batman Fortress #4 comic book. This comic book is the quintessential example of why so many families refuse to read comic books. I am beside myself in shock that certain things were included in Batman Fortress #4. More on that later in this review. We get to see Batman and President Luthor team up in Batman Fortress #4. That alone raised my excitement for this issue. I had plenty of interesting thoughts concerning that. There will be spoilers in this issue.

The wet blanket Batman has these rules for Luthor. Luthor agrees even though Batman needs him and there should have been some negotiations in my opinion. They get to where the Fortress of Solitude is supposed to be and it is gone. It has been moved. The presumption is Superman moved it. Later we find out it was moved to the bottom of the ocean at the deepest spot. Getting to it is going to be a problem.

The issues families will have with Batman Fortress #4 are violence, blood, bad language, promotion of evolution, and more. This talking chimp called D. C. goes on this hate filled radical far left rant about how humans destroyed the planet and this blackout is saving the planet. I felt like I was going to throw up after reading such fanatical zealot propaganda. He refused to help because he want humans gone. Talk about a horrible villain. Luthor is actually helpful in Batman Fortress #4, and he was mistreated.

Luthor is funny in Batman Fortress #4. The aliens show up at the empty hole where the Fortress of Solitude used to be. They start to have a conversation when a sniper takes one of them out. He heals and it is okay which is really strange to me. That alien should be gone. The hatred of Superman is displayed again with no evidence, proof or alternative narrative. I wonder if this franchise will try and redefine Superman's origins.

Batman Fortress #4 contains twenty-one pages of content with advertisements throughout the comic book. There is also a DC Nation Spotlight and page devoted to Tim Sale. We get the squirrel Green Lantern D'ayl in Batman Fortress #4. He wants some pizza from Gotham and decides to help to get the power back on. He is rebelling against his bosses so I wonder if he will have to face the music or not. I am still waiting for this franchise to explain what is going on with these aliens and Superman.
