Batman Knightwatch #3
SCORE: 75
I am thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Batman
Knightwatch #3 comic book. This comic book is a bit safer for kids
however there is a caveat there. The same stories are being used and the
comic book is split into two different stories. None of the stories
within Batman Knightwatch #3 connect at all. None of the stories in
Batman Knightwatch #3 connect to any of the previous issues either.
There will be spoilers in this review. The first story we get in Batman
Knightwatch #3 is Monster. This story contains ten pages of content. The
next story we run into is Catching Fire. The second story is also ten
pages of content. There are ads found throughout Batman Knightwatch #3.
The end of Batman Knightwatch #3 contains seven pages of content as a
sneak peek of Teen Titans Go Undead. I have actually read these exact
same pages in another comic book.
The Monster story in Batman Knightwatch #3 is all about Man-Bat. Robin
disobeys Batman and tries to take the Man-Bat down. Batman catches him
and explains Man-Bat is actually Dr. Langstrom who is looking for the
antidote. Robin does not need to pummel Man-Bat to a pulp. Man-Bat
allows Batman to administer the antidote so he can turn back human.
Batman Knightwatch #3 teaches you need to help the bad guys change.
The Catching Fire story within Batman Knightwatch #3 is all about
Firefly. He is burning down buildings to get revenge on those that black
listed him from the movie industry. The more I think about it the worse
it is to see blacklisting like that. Too bad too many in Hollyweird
blacklist Christians and conservatives. Batman Knightwatch #3 teaches
that people should look out for one another. I really wish they had
focused more on the movie industry and its evil blacklisting.
The issues families can have with Batman Knightwatch #3 are violence,
and lack of attire. There are some corny jokes in Batman Knightwatch #3.
Maybe kids will find it funnier than I did. The paper in Batman
Knightwatch #3 feels odd to me. I like how Batman comes prepared for
whatever villain he will face. The Knightwatch is referred to as "Cloud
of Bats" by Batman in Batman Knightwatch #3.
