Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3

I waited to read Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3 for quite a few months. The reason is I kept expecting to find a copy of the second comic book in this series. I finally decided to just move on and read Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3. I will still try to find a copy of the second one as time and money allows. As far as I can tell the first two issues were either connected or one shots. Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3 starts a new story.

There will be spoilers in this review. We learn all about Straightman in Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3. He is one of the lackies to the Joker. In fact Straightman is even able to fend off attacks from Batman in Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3. There are flashbacks that explain what happened to Straightman when he was in the military. There is also a mysterious woman in this comic book.

I suspect the mysterious woman in Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3 is actually Colonel Haslet. Carl (also known as Straightman) saved the life of Colonel Haslet in one of the flashbacks. Professor Hugo Strange did something to Carl and Haslet to make them more powerful. They also have memory flashbacks that can get violent. The flow of the story in Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3 is pretty good.

Amanda Waller sends Task Force X after Straightman. Batman pays them a visit, and he learns some interesting things. There is a very interesting ending in Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3. The woman in the red hoodie is shooting a gun at Batman telling him she is not his enemies. Batman is jumping out of the window to avoid getting hit. Batman does not get the answers he wants either. The issues families can have with Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3 are violence, blood, bad language, and more.

I can see where this is going after Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3. The lady in the red hoodie is trying to save Carl. Taskforce X is trying to capture Carl. Batman is caught in the middle trying to stop the Joker. How did the Joker get control over Carl in the first place? Seems like an odd place for a veteran of way in my humble opinion. There are twenty pages of content within Batman The Adventures Continue Season Three #3. Advertisements can be found all throughout this comic book.
