Blue's Big City Adventure

I am very thankful that Family Friendly Gaming was given a retail version of Blue's Big City Adventure on DVD. This movie is seventy-four minutes long with six sing alongs in the Extras section. There is some controversial and highly divisive content found within Blue's Big City Adventure. Expect spoilers throughout this review of Blue's Big City Adventure. Some aspects of Blue's Big City Adventure reach kids and some do not.

Josh is invited to audition for a play on Broadway in New York City. If you are like me then you might remember how New York City always ended with: "Get a ROPE!!" Josh must travel from Storybook World to the real world. Blue looks so wrong in Blue's Big City Adventure. The graphics are a small step up from the television show in the beginning of Blue's Big City Adventure. This movie feels like an advertisement for New York City in some parts.

There is a rainbow puppy and numerous rainbow flags found within Blue's Big City Adventure. Kids that watched Blue's Big City Adventure with us wanted to know where Noah's Ark was. I had a suspicion something rebellious against God was going on in this movie. There are little things like a guy giving another guy some flowers. Kids reacted very strongly to that controversial and highly divisive content.

There is plenty of singing and dancing within Blue's Big City Adventure. Josh forgot his notebook which had the address to the theatre he needed to go to. Josh failed at the number one rule of travel - verify you have everything you need before leaving. Salt and Pepper along with some others take a toy plane to try and find Josh. They find Steve and some other guy and they try and find Josh and Blue.

Josh and Blue wind up playing Blue's Clues in Blue's Big City Adventure to find the theatre. Josh figures out the clues and they are still not able to find the theatre. Josh sees Steve and the balloons and they make to the theatre late. Josh performs and it winds up on a giant TV in Times Square. Rainbow and her human come back to give Josh the job. Certain lines from the same songs are sung over and over again in Blue's Big City Adventure.

Blue's Big City Adventure teaches life is about the journey. There is a little lack of attire here and there in Blue's Big City Adventure. There are plenty of people in Blue's Big City Adventure that I have never heard of before. Kids enjoyed parts of Blue's Big City Adventure, and were not into other parts. The grunge Blue's Clues song was one of the few things that could keep an adult awake while watching Blue's Big City Adventure.
