Cobra Kai Season 3

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase Cobra Kai Season 3 on DVD. Please note there will be spoilers throughout this review. Both Johnny and Daniel are tormented over what transpired in the season finale from season two. Karate is blamed by the snowflake school board. The All Valley Tournament is even canceled because the “woke” see it as the problem. Thankfully both of them find their way out of their self loathing. Miguel finally wakes up from his coma and is stuck in a wheelchair. Johnny encourages him to get walking again.

The issues families will have with Cobra Kai Season 3 are violence, blood, bad language, sex outside of marriage, sexual content, lack of attire, enticement to lust, attacks on the church, mysticism, and more. We do get to see more characters from past Karate Kid movies in Cobra Kai Season 3. Some even help in meaningful ways.

We learn more about the background of Kreese in Cobra Kai Season 3. We find out what happened to him in Vietnam to make him come up with the no mercy rule. We find out the horrible things he did to survive as well. We will be getting a friend of his to come and help in the future. Daniel learns a limb paralyzing technique that he winds up using in the last episode of Cobra Kai Season 3. It takes 326 minutes to watch the ten episodes of Cobra Kai Season 3.

Different kids change sides in Cobra Kai Season 3. Their storylines make perfect sense. I was really happy to see Hawk change sides. He did get revenge on Demetri and later regrets breaking his arm. Samantha deals with fear in Cobra Kai Season 3. She does get back with Miguel after he is back on his feet. Robby winds up joining Cobra Kai after spending some time in juvenile detention. He winds up hating his dad and Daniel. Daniel and Johnny join dojos to fight off Cobra Kai.

There is a ton that happens in the ten episodes of Cobra Kai Season 3. This season feels like a setup season to me. There is a big battle at Christmas time between Cobra Kai and the two other dojos. I am a bit baffled why Cobra Kai keeps attacking over and over again. It makes no sense. Kreese gets beat up by Johnny and Daniel both. I am pleased to see Johnny and Daniel finally working together. I hope that continues for some time.
