Constantine The House of Mystery
SCORE: 34
Constantine The House of Mystery is one of those products we came
across on Black Friday 2022. I decided to pick it up even though it is a
Restricted product. I thought we were getting a movie out of Constantine
The House of Mystery. Noah thought we were getting a movie. Peter
thought we were getting a movie. Unfortunately Constantine The House of
Mystery is actually four shorts. It takes seventy-six minutes to watch
all four shorts and that includes the credits.
The four shorts on this Blu-ray disc are Constantine The House of
Mystery, Kamandi The Last Boy on Earth, The Losers, and Blue Beetle. The
first two have an apocalyptic theme to them. The Losers is set in World
War II where a portal to bring in dinosaurs has been found. Blue Beetle
is like a show from the 1960s. It has that feel, look, dialogue, and
more. Blue Beetle is really special if you catch my drift.
The issues families will have with Constantine The House of Mystery are
blood, gore, violence, magic, bad language, lack of attire, enticement
to lust, false gods, and more. Constantine The House of Mystery starts
right after Justice League Dark Apokolips War. The Earth has been pretty
much destroyed, so John works with the Flash to do a new flashpoint to
fix it so Apokolips never finds the Earth. That way people are saved.
The thing that John Constantine does not realize is that he must pay the
price for breaking the rules of the universe. Spectre sentences John
Constantine to spend eternity in the house of mystery. Spectre sends
John to have a happy life with his friends and family. John twists it
into something evil and they turn to demons and attack him. John gets
out thanks to three demons he sold his soul to.
Kamanda The Last Boy on Earth is interesting. He goes through trials to
find out if he is the great one returned. The great one was actually
Superman. He finds this out by passing all of the trials. The way he
gets through them is interesting indeed. I am not sure how they would
have survived without that guy that could turn his body metal. Mercy is
one of the traits he needed to have.
