Dark Web

Thanks to reading the Gold Goblin comic books I knew about the Dark Web storyline. I did not feel like trying to find all of these comic books so I waited for the graphic novel. The graphic novel compiled them and helped me understand the story better. This graphic novel sells for $34.99, but I was able to get it for $27.99. The two main villains within Dark Web are clones of other characters that do not have their memories. There will be spoilers in this review.

Dark Web is composed of Dark Web #1, Amazing Spider-Man #15, #16, #17, #18, Ms. Marvel #1, #2, Venom #14, #15, #16, Dark Web X-Men #1, #2, #3, and Dark Web Finale. The order of Dark Web feels weird to me. The comic books are grouped together by the series. So we start with Dark Web #1, and then all of the Amazing Spider-Man. Then Venom, Ms. Marvel, X-Men, and the finale. At times things happen in Dark Web that are out of place.

The issues families will have with Dark Web is violence, blood, bad language, magic, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. The villains are over Limbo. Well Madeyln is over Limbo. She gets her memories back and wants to stop the invasion of New York City. Ben Reilly is the Spider-Man clone that does not get his memories back. He winds up taking over Limbo and pressing the attack in New York. He loses and winds up in prison.

I do feel bad for Ben Reilly in Dark Web. He only wants to get back what he lost. He takes a dark path because he does not have these memories. Ben Reilly becomes Chasm in Dark Web. That purple outfit in Dark Web is pretty cool. That is one of the few things in Dark Web that I really like. The art ranges in Dark Web. Different episodes are done differently. The same with dialogue and the writing. Some are better than others.

Ms. Marvel is one of the worst ones to read. No wonder they killed her off after this. She is constantly regurgitating radical far left wing propaganda. White people are horrible, Muslims are constantly being persecuted, Christians are horrible, and the same other hate speech is what Dark Web teaches in her comic books. I cannot see how anyone with half an ounce of a brain can enjoy reading such venom and hatred.
