Darkwing Duck #5

I am very blessed to have enough money to purchase a copy of the Darkwing Duck #5 comic book. I am also blessed to have the time and equipment to be able to read this comic book, and write this review. Darkwing Duck is back and he is doing some strange things in Darkwing Duck #5. There will be spoilers in this review. Launchpad and Darkwing Duck are at a spa in Darkwing Duck #5. They want to relax after the recent battles.

There is some cartoon violence within Darkwing Duck #5. Darkwing Duck and Launchpad must fight off the Liquidator at the spa in Darkwing Duck #5. Darkwing Duck freezes this villain and goes about the chore of figuring out who is behind this plot. A previous issue of this comic book mentioned there was some big bad guy behind their attack. Who could be pulling all of these strings for so many issues?

A mysterious benefactor is the one sponsoring the spa day for these two ducks. The heroes notice a trend in there city. Nourishing Organic Good is popping up all over the place. There is water, spa, school, and more. Darkwing Duck eventually realizes it stands for Dr. NoGood. It takes almost the entire comic book for Darkwing Duck to get to that point. At that point in time it is almost too late.

The elementary school gives away free candy to the kids. It winds up mind controlling them. This includes Gosalyn at St. Canard. Darkwing Duck must dodge all of these balls in Darkwing Duck #5. He does not avoid all of them. Darkwing Duck decides to save Gosalyn and break the mind control. Thankfully he is able to do it. Darkwing Duck leaves the school to save his daughter. That means he will need to go back and save the other kids.

Darkwing Duck #5 contains twenty-two pages of comic book content, one of next month's covers, advertisements, and then the cover gallery. The cartoon violence in Darkwing Duck #5 reminds me of the television show. I have never had a spa day. I do not know of any men that would want a spa day honestly. Darkwing Duck and Launchpad seemed to enjoy it though. I know there are women that like spa days.
