Disney Villains Maleficent #5

Disney Villains Maleficent #5 dropped in my pile because it has not been the greatest comic book series to read thus far. I got some really great news after reading Disney Villains Maleficent #5 though. I will get into that in just a little bit. There will be spoilers in this review. Disney Villains Maleficent #5 is the last one in the series. It all ended right here in Disney Villains Maleficent #5. I could not be happier.

Disney Villains Maleficent #5 revolves around one final confrontation between Maleficent and the humans she has messed with. A wizard is sent to deal with Maleficent. The two of them have quite a wizards duel in Disney Villains Maleficent #5. At the end of the day it turns into a draw. The duel in Disney Villains Maleficent #5 remind me of The Sword in the Stone.

What is it about Disney Villains Maleficent #5 that reminds me of The Sword in the Stone? The two wizards in Disney Villains Maleficent #5 turn into different animals and attack one another. Maleficent turns into this giant snake, where as the other wizard turns into a giant buck with a lot of horns. The animal battle in Disney Villains Maleficent #5 is fascinating.

The crow in Disney Villains Maleficent #5 is identified as an imp. I found that fascinating as well. Disney Villains Maleficent #5 does have a decent amount of talking which is nice. The art tone and coloring are still green, dark, and depressing. Honestly the art style is one of the reasons I am glad this series is completely done now. Disney Villains Maleficent #5 finally finishes it off.

Another item of interest at the end of Disney Villains Maleficent #5 is Maleficent swears to get her revenge. I suppose that brings us right up to the movies. I vaguely remember the movies Maleficent were in. It has been some years for me though. Disney Villains Maleficent #5 shows me that Cruella will be getting a series soon. I am not sure I want to check that series out though.
