Dr Stone 14
SCORE: 68
Dr. Stone 14 continues the science team on the second island. Senku
has a plan to get the petrification weapon. They will use a drone to
catch the weapon and then they will have the secret to this technology.
They must first find out more about this weapon. There will be spoilers
in this review. I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of
the Dr. Stone 14 manga. We are getting closer to the science team being
able to revive anyone and everyone.
Moz is an interesting character within Dr. Stone 14. He is strong enough
to kill the entire science team in Dr. Stone 14. Gen is able to mentally
manipulate him into teaming up with them. Gen uses psychology that Moz
is not even aware of. Ginru and Kohaku wind up getting petrified in Dr.
Stone 14. Other members of the science team are able to get freed from
being statues in Dr. Stone 14. Ginru gets stabbed so being petrified is
a way he can be saved in the future.
The issues families will have with Dr. Stone 14 are violence, blood,
threats, deceit, lies, lack of attire, enticement to lust and more. We
find out the power structure on this island is not what we originally
thought. The main leader has been petrified. It has also been determined
that there is only one weapon that turns people into stone. At least on
this little island. It is unknown if there are more around the world.
One of the coolest items created in Dr. Stone 14 is a scuba tank. The
other really cool item in Dr. Stone 14 is a gun. Fire arms are finally
acquired in Dr. Stone 14. It is protection against Moz once he attains
power. There is nothing to stop him once he kills off the current leader
Ibara on this island. Moz is using the kingdom of science team for his
power grab. He just cares about being over the harem. Senku is
constantly thinking moves ahead and it shows quite well in Dr. Stone 14.
Gen surprised me with some of his wiles in Dr. Stone 14.
There are some truly despicable characters in Dr. Stone 14. There are
not as many cool inventions in Dr. Stone 14 either. The good news is it
looks like things will come to a head in terms of the petrification
weapon in the next volume. That is my personal hope anyway. Aspects of
this current storyline have been dragging on in my personal opinion. I
will continue to read Dr. Stone and see where things go from here. I am
thankful I had the money to purchase Dr. Stone 14. I continue to
appreciate how logic and the powers of deduction are being used in this
manga.
