Dr. Stone 19
SCORE: 71
I am so thankful I had the money to
purchase a copy of the Dr. Stone 19 manga. I was worried about Senku at
the end of the last manga book. There will be spoilers in this review.
Thankfully Senku survived the sniper shot and is getting nursed back to
health. Chrome comes up with a plan to kidnap Dr. Xeno. Dr. Xeno creates
a submarine to attack the large boat of the Japanese. Both scientists
succeed and both of them fail. Senku is willing to lose some pawns
because he has a bigger plan in mind going forward.
The issues families can have with Dr. Stone 19 are violence, blood, lack
of attire, enticement to lust, and more. Luna wants Senku to be her
boyfriend and uses that as a bargaining chip to keep him alive. Senku is
willing to make that deal since he gets to stay alive. Luna is a bit
shocked to find out that Senku was married before. Senku will do
whatever he needs to do to get his goals accomplished. The airplane
battle with maneuvers explained was pretty interesting in Dr. Stone 19.
There is a major shock at the end of Dr. Stone 19. Senku gives away the
revival formula which the residents of Corn City did not even know
about. Senku plans on having a summit with Dr. Xeno and going to South
America to find the source of the original petrification weapon. It is
possible the petrification weapon they have is not the only one in
existence. I guess I will need to see where this author takes us on this
fascinating journey. I wonder how much longer until we send people back
to the moon?
I love seeing all of this cooperation and working together in Dr. Stone
19. The interesting and new inventions are also fun to see. They are
getting more and more advanced with every single manga book. For me it
is fun to see what they will bring back. I am very curious to see how
Senku and Dr. Xeno get along in future manga books. The hostilities come
to an abrupt halt in Dr. Stone 19. I think they will have some peace,
but Stanley may also hunt them to get Dr. Xeno back. I plan on
continuing to read this series as time and financial resources are made
available.
I find it interesting how certain characters are turned to the kingdom
of science. It can be ice cream, or another member joins. Dr. Stone 19
lightly touches on motivations. Why would someone side with Senku over
Dr. Xeno? I hope Dr. Xeno settles down in the future, and gives up
conquest.
