Edens Zero #3
SCORE: 60
The Japanese come up with some interesting ideas and some really odd
ones. That is my impression after finishing Edens Zero #3. This manga is
going some strange places. I find it interesting that the creator of
Edens Zero #3 explained how he came up with each of his three main
mangas. We get some new characters in Edens Zero #3 and we have many
returning characters. There will be spoilers in this review.
The issues families will have with Edens Zero #3 are lack of attire,
enticement to lust, violence, and more. There are witches and Shiki is
still referred to as the Demon King. There were bots on the Edens Zero
ship that are gone now. Shiki at first wants to go and find them.
Rebecca and other B-Cubers get kidnapped and transported to another
planet. Shiki goes after them because he cannot have his friends being
kidnapped.
Illega is a giant toad looking character that is kidnapping the women.
He wants to turn them into stone as furniture for himself He has one
lady get on all fours and she is turned to stone. She is a new chair for
him. This is what I was talking about in terms of really strange ideas.
The women are also naked when he does this to them.
There is some foam that dissolves the women's clothing and jewelry in
Edens Zero #3. They realize they can use this foam on a window high up
to get out. Rebecca gets out and Illega finds her. He starts to torture
her until Shiki arrives. Shiki will be fighting Jinn again in the next
manga book. They had a decent fight in Edens Zero #3. We learn more
about Ether Gear in Edens Zero #3. That world is slowly expanding.
Shiki has a Gray (from Fairy Tail) moment in Edens Zero #3. He has
trouble figuring out that he is not fully clothed. This is another
re-used and honestly dull concept used in Fairy Tail. What is the deal
with scantily clad women in Edens Zero #3? The whole nude escape thing
seemed a bit odd. Again I am noticing some of these things in a variety
of different manga I read. The Japanese have some serious obsessions.
