Fifa 23
SCORE: 81
Fifa’s star is rising again. Did you catch the live stream game Peter
and I did of Fifa 23 on our Rumble page? That was such an exciting game
that thrilled all of the viewers who were there live and were able to
interact with us and the game. If you missed it then you can check out
the video that should be up on our website before this review is online.
We so appreciate everyone who hangs out with us when we are live playing
video games and more.
Fifa 23 impressed me. Peter felt like it was the same game. I noticed
improvements in the dribbling in Fifa 23. It felt a little weird but
usually went in my favor. It was neat to pull up, and change directions
so much easier in Fifa 23. This is an area that eFootball had dominated
Fifa for so long. eFootball shot themselves in the foot a few years ago
and has been on the decline. Thankfully Fifa 23 is on the rise and is
actually some fun to play.
My biggest problem with Fifa 23 is the running toward the goal and my
player kicking some odd direction way away from the goal. I am not sure
why that happened so many times. I had to almost be dead center of the
goal and close to make it go in. Penalties are kind of random. Some
sliding tackles are okay and others are a card. I never figured that
out. I even slid into Peter a few times expecting a penalty and did not
get one. In past Fifa games every single sliding tackle was a penalty.
So there have been adjustments there as well.
The music that your family may find offensive can be turned off with one
quick selection. I love it when sports games allow us to turn all of
them off with the press on one button. Fifa 23 is nice to families and
streamers that way. The announcers are decent at calling the action.
Especially when a player is about to take a shot on the goal. I found
Fifa 23 to be fun and I am not into soccer one bit.
There are plenty of modes and ways to play Fifa 23. We played a game in
the World Cup to show it off since that event was also happening at the
time of the live stream. You can use Fifa 23 to make your country win
the whole thing to see how that would feel. Many of the people in the
stands look similar. They may have different colored shirts or flags but
beyond that there is a lot of rehash. Multiple difficulties and control
schemes are available in Fifa 23.
