G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #284
SCORE: 63
I decided to purchase a few of the G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
comic books before I got back into the comic book industry. G.I. Joe A
Real American Hero #284 is one of them that I was able to find online.
According to the front cover G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #284 is part
of a storyline called Murder by Assassination. This is the fourth part
of that storyline. I know I am coming into it a little late but
whatever. There will be spoilers in this review.
The issues families can have with G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #284 are
violence, and blood. There are multiple traps left by the bad guy in
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #284. In fact they must run out of these
buildings before they get blown up. They do get some tips and hints
along the way. The bad guy gets away by giving people a lot of cash to
trade places and passports with him. The Joes know where he is going
though.
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #284 has twenty pages of content, next
month's cover, Postbox the Pit, an ad, four pages of a preview of
Bermuda, and then some more ads. The back side of the front cover of
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #284 contains Sitrep, alternate covers,
and the credits. The Sitrep is a recap of what has been going on in this
storyline. The Joes are hunting down Al Kawbra. They are in southeast
Asia to try and apprehend him. Al Kawbra is part of Cobra.
The one victory the Joes can bank on in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
#284 is they secure the warheads. Local goons are easily disposed of in
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #284. Roadblock even has a moment that
could be defined as humorous. Cover A is the cover I purchased of G.I.
Joe A Real American Hero #284. That cover shows all these characters
that are not in this comic book at all. Why so deceptive?
Al Kawbra is a pretty bad guy in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #284. He
murders an official when the previous bribery money was not enough. He
then uses the outfit to help himself hide the warheads and escape. I am
very curious to find out who Al Kawbra is. Firefly and Storm Shadow both
come to mind. I am not clear what their status is in this comic book.
Zartan would be another potential candidate now that I give it some more
thought.
