G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #299
SCORE: 69
I am so blessed to have the money to purchase a copy of the G.I. Joe
A Real American Hero #299 comic book. I am also very blessed with the
time to read this comic book, and write a review. Things are rushing
toward the end of this comic book series. There will be spoilers in this
review. We start with a Sitrep, then twenty pages of content, next
months cover, and some advertisements.
Serpentor Khan easily takes over Cobra from Cobra Commander. He has
Cobra Commander put in prison with the G.I. Joe female ninja. The Joe
disembark from their vehicles and go on the hunt against Cobra. There is
one small problem when they get to the casino. Serpentor Khan places all
of the civilians at a shield between him and G.I. Joe. This makes the
Joes pull back. They will have to find another way.
The issues families can have with G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #299 are
violence, and blood. Storm Shadow and Wade meet up to save Sean (the
male Snake Eyes). Wade gets injured and Storm Shadow stays with him.
Laura the female Crimson Guardsman with an eye patch is the one that
frees the Sean Snake Eyes character. Things get even more weird from
there. I will get to that in the next paragraph.
Dr. Mindbender is allowed the ability to work on his questionable other
projects for Serpentor Khan. He revives a clone of Snake Eyes from when
he was in Dr. Venom's brainwaver scanner device. A sample was taken and
a clone was made and put on ice. The last page of G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero #299 has that Snake Eyes getting free from the giant glass
tube he was encased in. It gets so confusing with all these different
Snake Eyes characters around.
We see a zombie bomb and realize there is only one more issue left of
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero. If it is going to be used it will be
then. There is also hope for Cobra Commander and the female Snake Eyes
character getting free thanks to explosives in Cobra Commander's helmet.
Will Cobra Commander be able to get Cobra back under his control? I
expect Serpentor Khan will need to die for that to happen. I guess I
will find out in the next final issue of this comic book series.
