Gremlin Collection 1
SCORE: 76
Gremlin Collection 1 is the twenty-fourth cartridge on the mainline
Evercade line. There are six video games found on the Gremlin Collection
1 cartridge. There is also a pretty cool manual with controls and
information about this company and these video games. The video games on
the Gremlin Collection 1 cartridge are Zool, Actua Soccer, Utopia The
Creation of a Nation, Premiere Manager 97, Hardcore 4x4, and Brain
Bender.
The games on the Gremlin Collection 1 cartridge range from 8-bit to
16-bit all the way up to 32-bit. I hope we get some 64-bit games on the
Evercade in the future. I remember Zool on the Atari Jaguar back in the
day. This 2D side scrolling platformer has all kinds of bright colors
and confusing graphics. It can be difficult in Zool to figure out where
you can go and what might cause you harm. It is one of those games I
still like even though it can be challenging to play.
Actua Soccer and Hardcore 4x4 look like 32-bit video games to me. One is
a soccer game and the other is a racing game. It can take a bit to
figure out the controls in some of these games. Once you do then you
should achieve some degree of success. That is what happened to me in
Hardcore 4x4. There are so many different angles and hills to pay
attention to in that game. I was able to generally recover pretty
quickly and get some wins.
Brain Bender is a fun little puzzle game that really enhances this
cartridge in my opinion. I love it when games make me think. Utopia The
Creation of a Nation may also make you think. The strategy is deep in
this game even though it was a 16-bit video game. Brain Bender is a game
from the 8-bit era per the research I performed on the games on the
Gremlin Collection 1 cartridge. It is still fun even though it was a
Game Boy video game.
There is some violence, lack of attire, and enticement to lust within
the games found on the Gremlin Collection 1 cartridge. Premiere Manager
97 is another strategy video game where you must try and manage your
team to a championship. Plenty of options within that video game.
Families should get their moneys worth out of Gremlin Collection 1. At
least four of these video games are ones I do not remember from back in
the day.
