Guardians of the Galaxy #6

I am trying to decide if I want to keep reading the Guardians of the Galaxy comic book or not. Guardians of the Galaxy #6 finally explains a few things to me. There are also some shocking things that happen in Guardians of the Galaxy #6. Both of the things that happen in Guardians of the Galaxy #6 make me lean toward not reading much further. There will be spoilers in this review of Guardians of the Galaxy #6.

Guardians of the Galaxy #6 starts with a recap/credits page. There are twenty pages of comic book content within Guardians of the Galaxy #6. Advertisements can be found all throughout the Guardians of the Galaxy #6 comic book. There are some advertisements that contain blood, gore, false gods, and more. Guardians of the Galaxy #6 does contain some violent content as well.

Guardians of the Galaxy #6 gives us a recap story from each of the main characters. Each of the characters explains how they failed. Guardians of the Galaxy #6 also shows me what happened to Groot to get Grootfall going. At the end of Guardians of the Galaxy #6 I thought that Grootfall may be completely done. I thought the Guardians of the Galaxy stopped that threat forever.

The page for the next issue after Guardians of the Galaxy #6 threw that understanding completely out the window. Guardians of the Galaxy #6 talks about the Guardians of the Galaxy are now dead, and there are going to be some new characters becoming a new Guardians of the Galaxy. This is a real shock. Now that I know the origins of Grootfall and these characters are gone my interest in this comic book wanes greatly.

I will need to do some thinking after reading Guardians of the Galaxy #7. I am leaning towards dropping this series very soon. I am really bummed that so many of these characters are just being killed off in Guardians of the Galaxy #6. This is comic books so they should be coming back at some point. It is weird to see major characters killed off right after a reboot. Usually it happens before a reboot of the universe.
