Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1

I am so blessed to have been able to purchase, read, and review Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1. This comic book caught my eye because it is the Guardians of the Galaxy. Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1 is rated for thirteen and older only. I am surprised at how tame this comic is compared to video games, TV shows, and movies with the same age rating. I am not clear if this comic book will continue after this issue. There are aspects that make me think it will. Then there are aspects that make me feel like it is an one shot.

There will be spoilers in this review of Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1. Worldmind wants to interview Peter Quill. Thing is he is in the middle of a battle. Peter and the rest of the Guardians want to borrow a gem to power up their ship. Then they can leave that planet. Rocket wants to take all of the gems and sell them. The gem is attached to a hand that is not too keen on losing it. Thankfully they come up with a plan to borrow some of the energy only.

There is plenty of humor within Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1. The rest of the Guardians actually sat down with Worldmind to discuss Terrans and Star Lord in particular. By the time Peter gets into the comfy chair it has fur and splinters on it. A Celestial is shown wanting to eradicate Earth because we are defiant to all of species that tried to conquer us. How dare we refuse to be their slaves.

There are ads found throughout the Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1 comic book. The main content is twenty pages. The issues families can have with Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1 is violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There is some radical far left content on the Bullpen Bulletins page. The intro at the top of the page with the credits is interesting.

I enjoyed the humor within Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1. I hope this franchise continues for awhile. I am curious to see how the Guardians of the Galaxy will stop a Celestial. Although with it being an attack on Earth it should be all hands on deck - meaning all heroes of the Marvel Universe on, near, or around Earth. The art and dialogue are pretty good in Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind #1.
