Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1

We get these free periodicals from the local comic book stores that tell us what will be coming out in a few months. That is where I first heard about Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1. The idea sounded pretty interesting. I knew there could be major issues with this kind of a crossover. Time will tell as I read this limited run series. There will be spoilers in this review.

Some of the pages in Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1 were actually already published in other comic books near the end. The proposal by Clark Kent to Lois Lane is a great example of this. Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1 starts us out with the proposal and Godzilla showing up. Then we go back in time twelve hours. Titano shows up and Superman defeats him.

We also find out about the Legion of Doom in Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1. Lex Luthor has a plan to get rid of the Justice League. So the team of villains breaks into Superman's Fortress of Solitude. They are there to steal a Mother Box, and Orion's Sled. The idea is to transport the Justice League to the Phantom Zone. Toyman messes up the plans and the villains get sent to an alternate Earth where Godzilla and Kong reside.

Toyman made another mistake in Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1. He broke into one of the display cases that contained a red gem. This set off alarms that sent the heroes his way. The rest of the villains are not very happy with Toyman in Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1. Toyman walks off only to make a wish with the red gem about the monsters being brought to his world.

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1 ends with Godzilla appearing right outside of Metropolis. There are thirty pages of content within Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1. Advertisements can be found throughout this comic book. The issues families can have with Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1 are false gods, violence, and more. The credits page is at the end of Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #1.
