MLB The Show 22
SCORE: 82
This year we got a free copy of MLB The
Show 22 on Xbox Game Pass. My dad still plans on purchasing a physical
copy on the PS5 at some future date. Keep your eyes peeled for that in
one of our FFG Haul live streams. We had fun streaming MLB The Show 22
on our Twitch channel. That is being converted into a video to put on
our video sites. There is a lot of impressive stuff in MLB The Show 22.
Families can enjoy modes like Road to the Show, Diamond Dynasty, March
to October, and Franchise within MLB The Show 22.
There are online and offline game modes in MLB The Show 22. It is cool
that MLB The Show 22 is on multiple different systems. To me MLB The
Show 22 is better than MLB The Show 21. I see this game as a step up.
There still are some issues and problems with MLB The Show 22 though.
Take for example the game I played with my dad on Twitch. He would get
perfect timing and fly out. I would get perfect timing and get home
runs. Why are there different results on fast balls hit perfectly right
up the middle by home run hitters? I could not figure that out. I really
hope there is not some lame momentum meter in MLB The Show 22.
MLB The Show 22 looks great and it sounds good too. There is offensive
music within MLB The Show 22. Thankfully families can go into settings
to turn it off. Streamers also need to turn off music to avoid getting
into trouble with the ultra filthy rich music companies. At this point
why even include the music? It is being turned off and ignored. Sort of
how the PR and Marketing people treat Family Friendly Gaming. They have
no professionalism and ignore all of our journalist queries. They make
all of Sony look horrible.
There are on screen displays to help players in fielding. With some
experimentation we were able to figure out how to steal bases in MLB The
Show 22. Hopefully MLB The Show 22 will keep my interest longer than MLB
The Show 21 did last year. Errors seemed really random in MLB The Show
22. I am not clear why they happened at certain times. I like how MLB
The Show 22 lets you know that a pitcher is getting tired. I have played
enough baseball video games to know when to start to warm up a pitcher
in the bullpen. MLB The Show 22 keeps a lot of things from previous
years the same. I had some fun playing MLB The Show 22.
