Masters of the Universe Masterverse #4
SCORE: 63
Masters of the Universe Masterverse #4 is slightly better than the
last issue. Sorceress and Zodac conclude their debate in Masters of the
Universe Masterverse #4. I am so happy this is the last issue of this
comic book series. The format of Masters of the Universe Masterverse #4
is one page with the Sorceress and Zodac, a nine page story, an eight
page story, and then two pages back to Sorceress and Zodac. We get
different art styles in each of the stories within Masters of the
Universe Masterverse #4. There will spoilers in this review of this
comic book.
The issues families will have with Masters of the Universe Masterverse
#4 are violence, magic, lack of attire, enticement to lust, multiverse,
false gods and goddesses and more. I like the art in the first story
that is nine pages. I am okay with the art in the second story that is
eight pages. The two characters debating He-Man has interesting art
within Masters of the Universe Masterverse #4. Zodac is brought around
to becoming supportive of He-Man at the end of Masters of the Universe
Masterverse #4.
The second story and the final few pages are devoted to Modulok. This
evil character was connecting across the different universes and
combining strength to try and gain the power of He-Man. Modulok wants
the secrets of the universe. For some reason He-Man has them. The
secrets of the universe are given to Modulok but it is too much for one
man. Then how exactly does He-Man contain it then? The logic within
Masters of the Universe Masterverse #4 is lost on me.
One of the fascinating things about this comic book series is the
different kinds and styles of He-Man. Masters of the Universe
Masterverse #4 showcases this as well. There are some fascinating
variances between the different He-Man characters. He-Man also has
different teams that do different things. The He-Man characters fighting
the robot fakers was an interesting idea as well. The robots did not
know they were robots until they were hacked.
Masters of the Universe Masterverse #4 cost $3.99 when I purchased it.
The end of the story was a bit on the predictable side. I have no
interest in reading any more He-Man comic books anytime soon. I may try
and pick up the cartoon at some point. I know there was quite a bit of
occult content within it. That is why I have not gotten around to it as
of yet. There was a cool battle cat character in Masters of the Universe
Masterverse #4 that stood on two legs.
