Mega Man #31
SCORE: 77
Mega Man #31 is another comic book Peter found in his room from his
childhood when he cleaned it up and redesigned it for the standing desk.
If you watch our shorts videos then you have seen that desk. Princess
even got a ride on it in another short. Mega Man #31 is the third part
of Blackout The Curse of Ra Moon. There are four total parts in that
storyline. I am not sure if we have anymore of this storyline or not.
There will be spoilers in this review.
Mega Man and Guts Man are on their way to try and stop Ra Moon. Along
the way they run across other robot masters that are trying to stop
them. Ra Moon is controlling them at times somehow. That is not
completely explained in Mega Man #31. Thankfully the credits page in
Mega Man #31 had a recap that helped me understand what is going on in
this storyline. The power is out. Numerous robot masters have been
coated with a substance that allows them to continue to function.
Mega Man's sister is in dire straights in Mega Man #31. Dr. Light saves
her for now but it fighting a losing battle if the power is not brought
back on pretty quickly. There is some violent content within Mega Man
#31. There is also talk of destroying certain characters. Dr. Wily shows
up in Mega Man #31. Something bad happened to him thanks to Ra Moon. Dr.
Wily tries to take Ra Moon down with a new robot master called Ra Thor.
Dr. Wily used the same materials and technology that Ra Moon is made out
of. Unfortunately for Dr. Wily Ra Moon completely takes control of Ra
Thor and uses it against them. Mega Man and plenty of other Robot
Masters are fighting against Ra Moon. The storyline ends in the next
issue. I am expecting Ra Moon will be taken down somehow. The art is
pretty good in Mega Man #31. The dialogue is interesting and
informative.
Advertisements can be found throughout the Mega Man #31 comic book.
There are twenty page of content within Mega Man #31 in regards to the
main storyline. There are two pages of Mega-Mail and then a page showing
off the next issue. I do like how the Robot Masters are saving people in
Mega Man #31. The lack of power all over the world is causing all kinds
of problems. Say you need a surgery but there is no power. That is a bit
of a problem. So a robot master provides the power.
