Midnight Suns #4

I am now one step closer to being completely done with the Midnight Suns comic book series. There are only five issues in this series, and I am currently reviewing number four. Midnight Suns #4 picks up where the last one left off and lays the groundwork for the ending of this series one way or the other. Honestly at this point I do not care which direction they go with it. I know they probably cannot kill off every non-magic user in their universe but you never know.

There will be spoilers in this review of Midnight Suns #4. I am thankful I could find a copy of Midnight Suns #4 and the had the money to purchase it. Agatha tries to save Corina in the beginning of Midnight Suns #4. It is actually a flashback to what happened in the past. Valtorr refused to release Corina and is too strong for Agatha. She winds up retreating and leaving her fellow witch there.

What we find out in the end of Midnight Suns #4 is that Corina slowly sucked the power of Valtorr until she was stronger and could easily defeat him. She did so and set all of this in motion. She is the big bad character behind the scenes. She has a mask and everything. At the end we see all of these heroes dead. I am not sure if it is a vision or not since there as not enough time for a fight. Or we were not shown the fight.

The issues families will have with Midnight Suns #4 is blood, gore, violence, magic, occult, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There are twenty pages of content within Midnight Suns #4. The ads can be found throughout this comic book. The recap on the front credits page will help readers remember what is happening in this dark fantasy version of the Marvel Universe. The black and red costumes are growing on me, even if the characters are not.

Stark as a sorcerer supreme is still weird. What is with all of these characters having such bad attitudes? Logans claws are red in Midnight Suns #4. He is also given a power boost to his claws thanks to the new black and red costume. Blade does not have a big part to play in Midnight Suns #4. I find that sad since he was doing so good in previous issues. Midnight Suns #4 fawns all over Magik but she does not impress me.
