My Hero Academia Vol 2

I continue my manga exploration of My Hero Academia with My Hero Academia Vol 2. The rivalry between Deku and Kacchan starts to really show in My Hero Academia Vol 2. The more I think about this franchise the more I realize this series has those two competing against one another quite often. Kacchan continues to have anger issues in My Hero Academia Vol 2. I have no clue why he is so mad. It makes little sense to me.

There will be spoilers in this review. The kids in the school get to fight against one another with All Might supervising. Deku outsmarts Kacchan in their two on two match. Kacchan has some good strong powers. His problem is he gets the visors on and wants to take out Deku. He does not think and becomes very easy to manipulate. Deku is willing to take a beating to get the victory. That is a bit of a short sided nature on his part though.

The media is all over wanting to interview All Might now that he is a teacher at the school. We learn about the security of the school. Deku is voted as class president but he steps down for Ida instead. The students go to another training and villains attack. Their goal is to kill All Might. There is one problem with their plot. All Might is not with the students. Well All Might is not there until the end of My Hero Academia Vol 2.

The issues families can have with My Hero Academia Vol 2 are lack of attire, enticement to lust, violence, blood, bad language, and more. We learn about different quirks and how dangerous they are. Deku continues to outthink and outsmart his opponents. He has massive power but it still hurts him to use it in My Hero Academia Vol 2. He does use one finger at one point in My Hero Academia Vol 2. Breaking just one finger allows him to function still.

My Hero Academia Vol 2 sets up for a really good fight coming up between All Might and Nomu. Eraser Head holds his own against a mob of villains in My Hero Academia Vol 2. Thing is he eventually runs into something he is not strong enough for. The villains got really organized in My Hero Academia Vol 2. Ida is sent off to use his speed to bring back help from the school. They are at a different location. I will try to continue to work these in as time allows.
