My Little Pony #12

I am so very thankful we were blessed enough financially to purchase a copy of the My Little Pony #12 comic book. This is a one shot story done in the style of a True Crime Investigation. In fact there is a MareCrimeBay podcast in My Little Pony #12. This comic book is all about Pansy Silverbell. She went missing some time back. She was on her way to this cooking competition that she had won in previous years. There will be spoilers in this review.

The artwork in My Little Pony #12 is nice to look at. There are plenty of words explaining the story, and the investigation in My Little Pony #12. There were two ponies that saw Pansy that morning. The sheriff interviews both of them. It seems they both have something to hide. They also have some regrets in My Little Pony #12. Pansy was their friend. Was there some foul play afoot? Tips come into the podcast that help the investigation.

There is a lot of food in My Little Pony #12. The ponies stuff themselves multiple times. My Little Pony #12 has twenty pages of content, next month's cover (well at least one of them), alternate covers and finally a few advertisements. This is pretty typical for the IDW Publishing comic books. The story in My Little Pony #12 can suck in the readers. I found it very interesting. I figured that Pansy was still around somewhere. But why did she leave?

Pansy sends an anonymous email to the podcast and meets with the sheriff. She left because she was standing in the way of her friends having any success. She kept winning and they could not become their best selves because she was hogging the lime light. At the same time Pansy did not want to be the star. Pansy did not want to be winning all those competitions. She felt like she was being a bad friends and left so they could flourish.

The level of selflessness shown in My Little Pony #12 is awe inspiring. I wish more people in our world acted that way. Instead we have people trying to hang onto any flicker of fame left. We have greedy people keeping others down. My Little Pony #12 shows how we can treat one another better. I can think of quite a few people that could benefit from reading My Little Pony #12. This comic book was a light in my otherwise dark day.
