My Little Pony #14
SCORE: 79
I am very curious to see where this comic book series goes. Thus far
it has just been some one shots after the interesting story with
Discord. Can you guess what will happen with My Little Pony #14? As far
as I can tell this is another one shot. I could see some ways this story
could continue but honestly it feels like it was all wrapped up at the
end. There will be some spoilers in this review of My Little Pony #14.
We meet Violette in My Little Pony #14. She is a pony that visits Izzy
for the weekend. Violette looks like a younger pony. Violette is having
issues with being bullied. Why would all of these happy go lucky love
everyone ponies bully her? For one she is bad luck. The second reason is
she is a bit clumsy and makes mistakes. The third is she has spots on
her coloring. She is seen as a freak for having spots.
My Little Pony #14 teaches us that everyone is the same no matter what
they look like. You should treat everyone with love and respect no
matter what design they have. My Little Pony #14 also teaches that
adults talking to kid bullies is bad, art is a safe place, and accidents
are not your fault. To be fair Violette has a lot of accidents within My
Little Pony #14. Some people or ponies are just prone to messing things
up.
There are twenty pages of comic book content within My Little Pony #14.
From there we get to see one of next month's covers, alternate covers
for this issue, and then some advertisements. None of the advertisements
within My Little Pony #14 interested me in the slightest. My Little Pony
#14 is some magic in My Little Pony #14 in the form of a potion.
Violette is given a potion to change her colors to one main color.
My Little Pony #14 teaches kids to follow directions. Violette does not
follow directions, and drinks more than she should. What happens next is
her colors go all crazy and change into all kinds of interesting
different designs. I think kids will find that funny. I thought it was a
bit on the clever side. Violette is given a second potion to make her
coloring go back to her spots. She then embraces what she looks like.
