My Little Pony #8

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the My Little Pony #8 comic book. This issue picks up right where the last one left off. The festival is done. Can we finally get back onto the trail of Discord? Please be aware there will be spoilers in this issue. My Little Pony #8 is yet another side bar issue where we make little to no progress on the main story. Why can't we ever progress the main story?

Izzy decides to help out Sunny. She wants to improve her cart, and give her some cool and new recipes for smoothies. There is some reflection in My Little Pony #8 about the different ponies have different kinds of magic. As some ponies enjoy flying around they are neglecting their friends on the ground. In a way the point Discord made is shown as reality in My Little Pony #8. The ponies apologize and think about the feelings of those they left behind.

I like the pages and art found within My Little Pony #8. The ponies have quite the range of emotions within My Little Pony #8. At times it seems to be exaggerated a little bit but that is something kids will enjoy. The division between the different kinds of ponies is shown extensively in My Little Pony #8. There are some ponies like Izzy that does not care and will be nice to whatever pony there is.

My Little Pony #8 gives me a thought that the solution to defeating Discord might be coming up. It feels like the division and cooperation between the different ponies is interconnected. Can you the ponies catch up to Discord in time? Can Discord actually get rid of all of the magic? I do not yet know the answers to those questions. There is some humor within My Little Pony #8 as well. Like when ponies try certain extreme flavors of smoothies.

There are twenty pages of content within My Little Pony #8. After that we see one of next month's covers, the alternate covers to My Little Pony #8, and then some advertisements. There are plenty of bright colors and characters working together within My Little Pony #8. I am beginning to wonder when we will finally get back to Discord. It seems like we have sidebar after sidebar in this comic book series thus far.
