My Little Pony #9
SCORE: 90
Finally after so many little side stories we get some progress in the
main storyline in My Little Pony #9. There will be spoilers in this
review. My Little Pony #9 starts out with Zipp losing it. Zipp is trying
to find a clue as to where Discord is. Sunny notices something very
interesting about the books in the bookshelf in My Little Pony #9. There
is one book missing. What is missing is more important than what is in
the books that were left.
The ponies are off to Basaltic Caves. They realize that the lava in
those caves could melt the gem that gives all of the ponies their magic.
Off they go to try and stop Discord. The book is being read as they are
traversing this area with quite a deep chasm. They cross a rickety old
wooden bridge. Thanks to the telekinetic power a pony is saved from a
horrible fate. Their magic is losing its luster as they get closer.
Discord has some interesting motivation in My Little Pony #9. We have
actually heard a bit of it before in this comic book series. My Little
Pony #9 really shines the light on the logic. Discord wants equality. It
is not fair that some ponies can fly. So the solution Discord is working
on is to take flight from those that have it. In fact all of the magical
gifts are going to be taken from all of the ponies.
Let us apply that logic to our world. It is not fair that Mr. Beast has
all these views and subscribers. He should have them taken so he is no
one special. It makes me feel bad to have so many fewer viewers. The
numbers of those doing better should be lowered to the lowest common
denominator. It is not fair that a few people in the NFL make all that
money. They should have that money taken and given to those of us
without those gifts. We need equality after all right? The argument has
been used by the political left for a long time. It punishes success and
rewards failure. Problem is they never apply their logic across the
board. Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi have way more money than me. They need
to give me a few million dollars to make it more fair. They won't
though. They do not practice what they preach.
There are twenty pages of content, next month's cover, alternate covers,
and ads within My Little Pony #9. The ponies do argue about equality in
My Little Pony #9 at one point. The art work is nice in My Little Pony
#9 I am so happy we finally got some main story progress in My Little
Pony #9. The debate within My Little Pony #9 is an interesting one to
discuss in my personal and professional opinion.
