Negaduck #1

Dynamite seems to be on this tear with running comic books on the villains. There have been plenty of Disney villains they have already done comic books on. Negaduck comes from Darkwing Duck. Can you guess who owns the Darkwing Duck franchise? Yes it is Disney. Negaduck is the opposite of Darkwing Duck. Negaduck looks a lot like Darkwing Duck though. The coloring scheme is yellow, red and black though.

Since Negaduck #1 comes from the Darkwing Duck franchise I thought I would check it out. There will be spoilers in this review. If you like the main character being treated badly then you might enjoy Negaduck #1. In fact the humor within Negaduck #1 feels a lot like what we get out of Darkwing Duck. In fact readers could feel sorry for Negaduck after reading this comic book.

The issues families can have with Negaduck #1 are violence, theft, magic, and more. Negaduck has plans for crimes to commit. First he decides to rain food on the city but Professor Moliarty is already doing it. Then an insect invasion of the city but Liliput Gooney is already doing that. Finally Negaduck decides to flood the city, but Megavolt, Liquidator, Bushroot and Quacker-Jack are doing that.

Negaduck is dismayed that all of his ideas are being done by others. Negaduck then decides to follow some henchmen of Taurus Bulba. Here he learns about the Midas Glove and needing to find someone that specializes in magic to help discern its exact location. Negaduck then uses sleeping gas to knock out these characters. He steals the book of research and decides to take this idea and run with it.

Negaduck #1 contains twenty-two pages of comic book content, information on the next issue, advertisements, and then finally the cover gallery. I am already reading all of the other comic books advertised within Negaduck #1. I expect Negaduck is going need to deal with Taurus Bulba at some point. I suspect they will find out who knocked them out with sleeping gas in the future.
