Overwatch New Blood #2
SCORE: 72
I am very thankful I had the money to buy the Overwatch New Blood #2
comic book. Cole Cassidy is on his recruiting mission. Ana got Cole back
into the mix in the previous issue of this comic book. Now it is time to
start to build the team. Cole starts with Fareeha. This is where the
last comic book left off and where Overwatch New Blood #2 begins. There
will be spoilers in this review of Overwatch New Blood #2.
There are advertisements found throughout Overwatch New Blood #2. One of
the advertisements contains blood in it. The issues families can have
with Overwatch New Blood #2 are violence, lack of attire, and more. I
feel like the coloring is a bit better in Overwatch New Blood #2. There
are less really bland pages. There are still a few here and there.
Overall Overwatch New Blood #2 looks better to me than the first issue.
Overwatch New Blood #2 is based in Egypt where Helix Securities is
holding off Talon. With that battle that happens in Overwatch New Blood
#2 I am not sure how good of a job they are doing. Fareeha realizes Cole
and her mother make better partners than those she has in Helix. Will
she join up though? Overwatch New Blood #2 leaves that question open
ended. A decision has not been made even with a hand shake.
It is really neat to see mother and daughter reconcile in Overwatch New
Blood #2. The mother did not want her daughter in the same violent
lifestyle she was in. Ultimately the mother could not stop her daughter
and regrets ever trying. The hug and tears are a really good feel moment
within Overwatch New Blood #2. I like how Cole is patient and not
forcing anything on other characters. that is nice to see as well.
I wonder if this entire five comic book series is going to be
recruiting? A synapsis of the next issue is referenced near the end of
Overwatch New Blood #2. It sounds like the same story - recruit someone
and Talon attacks. I am guessing they will fight together against Talon.
The Horsepower page near the end of Overwatch New Blood #2 is a behind
of the scenes of a book I never plan on reading.
