Overwatch New Blood #3

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Overwatch New Blood #3 comic book. It is neat to be able to blitz through these issues since I have most if not all of the five issue series. I noticed a lot of comic books are doing this - five or six issues and then being done. Maybe it is how the comic book industry is surviving. We get a recap on the inside cover of Overwatch New Blood #3. To be honest these comics could all be one shots. There is an ongoing thread but each issue is about a different character.

There will be spoilers in this review of Overwatch New Blood #3. Cassidy meets Jean-Baptiste Augustin. Actually Jean-Baptiste is following Cassidy in Overwatch New Blood #3. He loses him in the crowd and winds up getting caught. Jean-Baptiste has an interesting backstory and a reason for Cassidy to not trust him in Overwatch New Blood #3. Jean-Baptiste was working for Talon. He eventually realized his mistake and decided to leave. He is now being hunted as a traitor. Cassidy thinks he might be a plant.

The bad guys go after Cassidy and Jean-Baptiste in Overwatch New Blood #3. They work together and fight them off. Ads can be found throughout this comic book. There are twenty pages of content within Overwatch New Blood #3. We also get a bit of an explanation about what the next issue will have in store for us. The colors are still a bit odd in my opinion. The tones are just not what I am used to. To be blunt I am not a fan of the tones used in Overwatch New Blood #3. There is also some violent content in this comic book.

I do feel like Overwatch New Blood #3 is a bit better content wise than the last issue. The two main characters in Overwatch New Blood #3 make their way onto a train. They vanish before they must show their papers though. Cassidy seems to trust Jean-Baptiste at the end of Overwatch New Blood #3. Cassidy wants to give him a second chance. Someone gave him once because they saw good in him. He is paying it forward. Hopefully that works out in the end. I am not familiar enough with the game to know.

The shield and healing factor used in Overwatch New Blood #3 are pretty cool. I have seen that shield or one similar in the Overwatch video game before. So that is pretty neat. I love it when the source material is connected. I am very curious to see if we will see the entire team together. There are not a lot of issues left after Overwatch New Blood #3 so it better come soon. Fans of this video game will probably enjoy Overwatch New Blood #3. The cover of Overwatch New Blood #3 made me think this issue was going to be on the beach and not a train station.
