Pan'orama

Recently it dawned on me that all of these companies send us meaningless digital download codes for products that honestly have no real world value to them. Digital downloads are so disposable especially if they are on Steam. We were sent a code for Pan'orama. We did not ask for a code for Pan'orama. We have strict rules on our Legal page that the developer and publisher completely spit on and insult us.

Every so often I decide to add something to my Steam Deck. That way when I am bored with Stumble Guys and Isla Sinaloa I have something else to play for a review. I take my time with these games too. Why should I be in a hurry for a company that is only treating us like slave labor? They compete with companies that are paying for our time since they know it makes them money.

I went through the tutorial of Pan'orama and it was clear as mud. Actually I got stuck in the tutorial multiple times and could not find a way to get it to move forward. I had to look up the buttons since most of Pan'orama is not mapped very well. We place tiles and it creates landscapes in Pan'orama. The interesting thing is we only can play so many tiles. I never did figure out how to get more.

The controls in Pan'orama are convoluted and confusing. I saw the Steam page and there are these gifs showing these massive creations that were created. I guess you can also get animals and pet them at some point. All I did with Pan'orama is fail again and again. I did not find Pan'orama very relaxing. I found it confusing and aggravating. Maybe the Steam Deck has something to do with that. I am not buying a new gaming PC anytime soon.

I thought Pan'orama was going to be this wonderful casual experience. The rules on what can be placed where and how it changes things is just too complex to be considered a casual experience. I did not find any violence or other major issues with Pan'orama. I also did not have any fun with it either.
